HongDae Korean Restaurant & Bar, located in Melbourne CBD, is looking for an experienced and reliable Front of House Manager to join our team. We are a busy Korean restaurant operating across two levels with approximately 80 seats. We are looking for a confident and organised manager who can lead the front-of-house team, maintain excellent customer service, and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant. Position Details • Position: Full-Time Front of House Manager • Location: Melbourne CBD • Salary: Negotiable based on experience • Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays • Immediate start available Key Responsibilities • Managing daily front-of-house operations • Supervising, training and supporting FOH staff • Preparing staff rosters and managing shift coverage • Providing friendly and professional customer service • Handling customer enquiries, feedback and complaints • Coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service • Managing reservations, table allocations and large group bookings • Monitoring staff performance and maintaining service standards • Opening and closing the restaurant • Handling POS transactions, cash reconciliation and end-of-day procedures • Ensuring the dining area complies with cleanliness, food safety and workplace safety requirements • Assisting with stock control and ordering front-of-house supplies What We Are Looking For • Previous experience as a restaurant manager, assistant manager or senior supervisor • Strong leadership and team-management skills • Excellent communication and customer-service skills • Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods • Reliable, responsible and punctual • Good understanding of restaurant operations • Current Victorian RSA certificate • Fluent or confident English communication skills • Korean language skills are helpful but not essential • Full Australian working rights are preferred What We Offer • Stable full-time employment • Supportive and friendly working environment • Staff meals provided during shifts • Opportunity to take an important leadership role in a busy and established restaurant • Long-term employment opportunity for the right candidate If you are interested, please send your résumé and a short introduction, including your relevant experience and availability, to: Email: wangjok22@gmail.com Phone/Text: 0412770355 Please include “Front of House Manager Application” in the subject line.
