Annual subscriptions

For only $56 a year you can purchase an annual Melbourne Bike Share Subscription giving you access to a bike anytime of the day or night. Annual subscriptions can be purchased online or by calling 1300 711 590. Once you subscribe, a key will be sent to you in the mail.

Daily & Weekly subscriptions

If you don’t need an annual subscription, select either our daily or weekly subscriptions. You can choose from a daily subscription ($2.80 per day) or a weekly subscription ($8.00 per week). Both of these subscriptions can be purchased at one of the 51 terminals around the city of Melbourne. Simply swipe your credit card, complete the registration details and off you go – no additional charges apply as long as your trip lasts less than 30 minutes (Usage fees apply for longer trips).

Helmets: bring your own, or you can purchase a $5 helmet from 7-Eleven stores and other participating retail outlets – see store locations for more information.

Riding without a helmet is illegal in Australia. Annual subscribers may purchase a discounted helmet from Melbourne Bike Share, along with annual membership.

Fees: pay an annual subscription fee online; or buy a weekly or daily subscription at any bike share docking station. Fees are calculated according to how long you ride and are charged directly from your credit card.

Docking stations: hire your bike from Melbourne University, RMIT University, Flinders Street Station, near the corner of Bourke and Swanston Street and at six other central city locations.
