We are a Korean BBQ restaurant located in Glen Waverley of Melbourne and provide Korean traditional cuisine to the general public. We are currently looking for
highly motivated and proactive Korean qualified Head Chefs and sous chef to join our team on a salaried basis.
About the Position
As a qualified Head Chef, you will be responsible for cooking & serving meals, creating new menus, You will be responsible for the quality production of all meals and
food services to customers as well as ensuring that the kitchen and service
Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will be confident in their skills, motivated to perform and will need to demonstrate:
Strong knowledge of Korean cooking techniques, understand Korean cultures
Uncompromising attitude towards high food quality, presentation and safety
Strong communication skills and a grace under pressure, and
Excellent planning skills and the ability to think on your feet
Maintain the quality of food;
Order or buy vegetable or meats other ingredients for cook:
Obtain feedback from the customers regarding food if necessary;
Improve taste & quality of food if necessary, based upon the customers' feedback;
Control the staff and stocks
Organise all food procedures;
Have at least 5 years of experience as a Chef and 2 years of as a Head chef
Have Australian work rights
You should have at least over 5 years of relevant work experiences in a similar position. A certification IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma in Hospitality or above in
Hospitality Management holder is preferred.
The Korean language speaker is preferred because most of our clients are Korean speaking background but are not essential,
Salary: $60,000,00--$62,500,00 (Salary will be determined depending on candidate's skills and work experience).
Require sponsorship to work (e.g. TSS 482 visa)
