Heading Out Hair & Beauty Melbourne is one of Australia's most awarded salons owned & directed by renowned 4 x Australian Hairdresser of the Year, Caterina Di Biase and 2022 AHIA Australian Hairdresser of the Year Finalist!
We are looking for a Senior Hairdresser to join our dynamic and fun Heading Out team.
There are exciting opportunities to work at fashion weeks, photo shoots & work with Miss Universe Australia winners, Miss Universe Australia finalists and events, as well as incredible training with hair extraordinaire Caterina Di Biase (also awarded 5 times Educator of the Year!)
Applicants should have:
*hairdressing qualifications/trade certificate level qualification or higher with at least 2 years experience & have the right to work in Australia
*Ability to work in 3 salon locations; in Fitzroy, CBD, Balwyn North
*a strong interest in Hairdressing & fashion
*be innovative, enthusiastic, & communicate well with both clients and other staff members
The successful applicant will be expected to work full time - 38 hours per week and have to perform following duties-
* Be confident in all aspects of Salon services with a strong focus on style cutting and hair colouring, particularly in foiling and Balayage
* Be a team player and helping all your colleagues perform at their best
* Polite and excellent communication skills
* Be social media savvy and committed to growing your career
* Have a strong passion for the hair and beauty industry.
* Arranging appointments, handling cash, cleaning area & equipment.
* Providing advice on hair care, beauty products and hairstyles
* Styling hair for special occasions
* Applying hair extensions for length and or colour
Visa Sponsorship available.
- Salary will be $55000+ potential commission - performance driven stylist well rewarded
