Sushi chef 

We are currently seeking a full time sushi chef to join our kitchen team. In this 'hands on' roll, you will responsible for breaking down fish, Slicing sashimi and nigiri, preparing a-la-Carte menu, as well as assisting with clean up kitchen operation. The successful application will have:

- Previous experience in similar role (3 years minimum experiences)
- Fast learner and able to work under pressure
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and proven ability to compliance with all food authority requirements includes safety and hygiene practice
- A Passion for preparing and serving quality meals and guest experiences
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
- Strong team work ethic, attention to detail
- A friendly and outgoing personality

Requirements:

• Minimum  Certificate III in commercial cookery or equivalent qualification
• A local certificate in Food Handling & Hygiene/equivalent;
• Fast learner and able to work under pressure;
• Previous experience as a Pasty Chef in a fast-paced professional environment;
• Be able to work a flexible roster including, weekends, evening and holidays;
• Ability to work productively and safely at all times with a focus on quality control;
• Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health & safety standards;
• Adaptable and previous experience working in a large and dynamic team.
