Location: The Glen Shopping Centre

We are currently seeking an assistant store manager, as an assistant manager, you will be responsible for daily management and maintaining the highest departmental standards.

The duties and responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining the daily operation and presentation of the store front

• Achieving sales, gross profit and any other KPIs

• Placing orders and stock taking/ stock controlling

• Studying trends and implementing in-store marketing and promotions

• Establishing good rapport with existing and potential customers

• Meeting customer requirements and deal with customer complaints

• Assigning and scheduling tasks effectively and supervising team members

• Reporting any issues to supervisor

An ideal applicant should possess following quality:

• Supermarket or retail management experience

• Great communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to guide and support team members

• Good skills and strong problem solving ability to handle issues when arise

• Flexibility with working hours and the ability to work some evenings and weekends
