We are located in Box Hill and Carnegie in Melbourne and provide authentic Korean cousins.  We are currently looking for highly motivated and proactive Qualified Chefs to join our team on a salaried or casual basis. 

About the Position 

As a Qualified Chef, you will.  You will be responsible for the quality production of all meals and food services to customers as well as ensuring that the kitchen and service are the second to none. 

Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be confident in their skills, motivated to perform and will need to demonstrate:

·        Strong knowledge of Korean cooking techniques

·        Uncompromising attitude towards high food quality, presentation and safety

·        Strong communication skills and a grace under pressure, and

·        Excellent planning skills and the ability to think on your feet

·        Maintain the quality of food;

·        Order or buy vegetable or meats other ingredients for cook;

·        Obtain feedback from the customers regarding food if necessary;

·        Improve taste & quality of food if necessary, based upon the customers’ feedback;

·        Control the staff;

·        Organise all food procedures;

·        Have Korean food experience as a Chef

·        Have Australian work rights

You should have the relevant Korean food work experiences in a similar position and Diploma in Cookery or above in Hospitality Management. Korean language speaker(s) is preferred (but it is not essential) because most of our clients are Korean speaking background.

Salary: $60,000.00--$65,000.00 (Salary will be determined depending on candidate’s skills and work experience).
